Wellbriety Training Institute
No new posts New Service
The Wellbriety Training Institute is a division of White Bison Inc., and has been formed to provide centralized training on the existing and future White Bison programs for the Wellbriety Movement. Beginning in January 2010, the Wellbriety Training Institute will offer a regular schedule of open enrollment “Facilitator Certification” classes in Colorado Springs, CO. We hope that this new training facility will make our programs more readily available and, in turn, increase the number of communities that have local certified facilitators. We are dedicated to providing culturally based training, tools and resources to ensure the ongoing growth and sustainability of the Wellbriety Movement.

Separate curriculums have been developed for boys and for girls. The registration fee is $450. For more information, or to register for this training, please go to www.wellbrietytraining.com or contact our office on our toll free number at 877-871-1495. No new posts Sons of Tradition Training
This training will tentatively be held July 20-22, 2010. This is a prevention education program for Native American boys age 13-17. It is designed to coincide with the school year and other weekly programs, and also to extend over the summer months. The focus of this program is establishing identity and learning what it is to be a Native American man. The curriculum is based upon the teachings of the Native American Elders and Clan Mothers. It consists of the Seven Philosophies, a set of posters, and a workbook. Facilitators receive these materials along with a set of instructional videos, a facilitator’s manual and lesson guides. Facilitators are trained in a three day program that introduces them to the principles, laws and values that form the basis of the program, options for using the curriculum, and how to use talking circles and mind mapping, which are integral to the training program. The registration fee is $450. For more information, or to register for this training, please go to www.wellbrietytraining.com or contact our office on our toll free number at 877-871-1495.
